In less than one week, the power DAM base price doubled: +64.90% for off-peak and +120.66% for peak

The power Day-Ahead-Market, operated by OPCOM, records an accelerated increase between July 26, 2020 and today. The base price gradually increased every day from lei 125.28/MWh to lei 240.98/MWh.

This last daily base price for July 31, 2020, traded on the DA market during the day before, is 23.58% greater than the one traded on the PC-OTC market for the same product on July 27, 2020, respectively lei 195.00/MWh.
